Brazilian movie about the life of German migrants in Brazil during WWII is the winner of a film festival in Spain.
According to an article by Correio do Povo:
Filmed in 2017 in Maratá and Harmonia, inner state, the movie is set during World War II and features a group of German immigrants isolated in the Brazilian countryside. They try to keep a low profile, but the children’s curiosity and the uncertainties facing their new life situation brings tension and a cycle of never-ending violence.
It is awesome to see such films taking the world by storm and portraying a little about the life of the German communities in Brazil in those days.
